Have you checked your page today? As you read this millions of people are updating their statuses at this very minute. Nowadays celebrities are getting all there attention from such websites such as; Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and other social networks. They receive this attention because they advertise their everyday activities on the Internet.  For us as fans to check up on our favorites celebrities daily. According to co-founder Evan Williams of twitter there are about 90 million tweets per day. The celebrities have been using their social websites for not only publicity but also for good.  For example, some celebs have recently been tweeting about the revolution in Egypt. Some people that have been supporting this cause include Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Hugh Hefer, Will. I. Am from the black eyed peas, Heidi Montag, Melissa Joan Hart, and Ryan Seacrest. Also celebs will update people letting them know where they are and what they're doing, allowing fans to "literally" follow them. This advertises the celeb allowing them to become more popular with the public.  How can you know if your actually following your idol and not some creepy guy on the other side of the screen? There are more ways to tell if the person is an actual celebrity. People can see if the celeb is real by either going on such websites as; Valebritiy.com or looking for a simple check mark on their page saying they are verified.  Make sure to check out your favorite celebs page today, because you'll be surprised as to how often they update.
