What is a Celebrity?

You're in the spotlight--all eyes on you.  Your reputation is everything.  Guard it or you'll fall fast.  The entertainment industry is a competitive place and everyone wants to get to the top.  Who you're spending time with, or seen with, even for just a second, can turn your world upside down.  Celebs have little privacy, so they need to be careful with everything they do, say and to whom they tell it.  Once you sign that contract you must do and be what they tell you, for example, Disney stars are looked to be, or at least expected to be conservative and appropriate.  We've seen countless former Disney celebs that have turned against this reputation.  Topless photos, drugs involved we've seen it, and most are leaked on the web.  They may have been hacked but they still took them. Some stars such as Haley Williams, and Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus are just some who we seen topless photos of on their twitter.  It's a shame, but they will do whatever to get themselves to get to the top.  To be a celeb one must allow all fans to get autographs and pictures taken.  Most fans would say that it’s the celebrity’s job to do this because of what they signed up for.  I can see where these people come from considering most people are very obsessive of these marvelous individuals, but at the same time some celebs needs space.  For this reason most celebs have twitters and facebooks to let their fans in on the daily scoop.  This is very helpful to the celebs that have busy lives and don’t always have time to sign autograph after autograph. Celebrities use their money to do good at times and they use social networks to publicize this to be known. Therefore they get more famous with their fans and get everything they do out there. Celebs are who they are not only because they are great actors or great singers...a big part of it is from us A's their fans. We follow our favorite celebs on twitter and support everything they do. We watch them grow in a way. We follow their every move and are up to date with the next big thing they are doing. I believe that fans are what make a celebrity. That's another reason why they must be careful on what they post to these social networks because as we all know everyone can see anything and everything on Facebook and twitter.
